Far from to be held back.
While the Bindi brought faith in her thoughts,
The Rakodi gave her a million strand’s strength,
And the Nathani empowered her to breathe free.
She knew no restraints, no barriers, no bars.
So all those questions wandering around, disappeared as she stopped and wondered “why not..”

In my field, I am frequently asked “ is this the right way to wear it?” “is this how it should be paired?” Well, the answer is quite simple. There isn’t a should or a must in the field of fashion. That is how fashion has outlived as the most WELCOMING, EXUBERANT and WILD across generations. I have always concentrated on the part of “why not?” and thats how I unleash myself resulting in a style that is distinctively mine.

As a freelance stylist, you are simultaneously working on commercial projects (e-commerce and lookbook shoots) which now and then light up the urge to create thought-provoking photo series. Similar impulse led me and my team to this project. The budding idea was to create a fusion of casual wear with Indian traditional festive jewellery. As the journey begun, we realised the depth these pictures could portray. Instantly, you start to think about the million times you have to ask yourself and the world “WHY NOT?”
